I Killed The Symphony

In a place where fashion is as fierce as the competition, and where blinding stage lights can crush even the brightest stars, I Killed The Symphony has launched itself into the limelight of the Los Angeles music scene.

Pulling influences from the city’s rich cinematic and musical history, Kiddo and her four counterparts have begun to merge the precision of theater with the passion of rock and roll. With a 6 song debut EP in circulation, and an international tour under their belts, the quintet shows no sign of slowing it’s momentum.¬†Look for them on tour in the U.S. and abroad, as 2012 begins to unfold as an incredible year for IKS.

I Killed the Symphony is comprised of 5 songwriters and producers. Britt “Kiddo” Joyce’s iconic theatrical influences stem from acts such as Joan Jett, Manson (Shirley & Marilyn), Britney Spears, Alice Cooper & Iggy Pop while much of their music influence is derived from cult classic films by writer/director Quentin Tarantino.

Britt and her “Reservoir Dogs”¬† Jonny -Drums , Devon-lead guitar, Eric-Guitar / Keyboards , and Jared-Bass / Keyboards come together to fashion a refreshing sound for the jaded ears of Los Angeles. With a sweet innocence and a fiery temper, ” Kiddo” makes you feel her passion for the music.

The live show is reminiscent of a theatre concept, but the songs and hooks will whisk you away to a world of undeniable pop sensibility.
